Seeing as my journals seem to be mostly stuff I've stolen from my watches and friends, I think it's time for something original. This is a test to see if anyone is listening. The scenario is this: I have just defeated a powerful enemy in pitched combat. I have made an example of them, and I have allowed them to retreat beaten but relatively unharmed. What is the community's opinion on me then utterly destroying them in their retreat? Keep in mind that this enemy is only stopped from combating me again by their own fear of my power. Discuss.
